Using Arduino compatible components that you can even program yourself. Tiny circuits was started back in 2011 under the original name of AkroSense LLC, and ever since has grown to be a fairly well recognised brand within the microcircuits hobby industry, while also letting their products be accessible for most ages, and offers a great learning experience as well.
