Polar Lights Models

Polar Models is a manufacturer who's main product lines are mostly focused on the Star Trek series, but not exclusively only Star Trek, including other movies such as Ghostbusters and more!

Polar Light Models was a model kit making division of Playing Mantis in 1994 with the specific intention of re-issuing Aurora Plastics Corporation's signature monster and science fiction kits of the 1960s and 1970s. This was not limited to classic monster and sci-fi, but also included iconic movie and tv vehicles. Later on from 2003 they gained the rights to Star Trek which eventually became a large portion of the companies model manufacturing.
