Command attention on the road or display shelf with this impressive 1/14 scale R/C assembly kit of the limited edition Volvo FH16 Globetrotter 750 8x4 Tow Truck – Silver Edition. Faithfully capturing the power and presence of Volvo’s flagship heavy recovery vehicle, this highly detailed model combines authentic styling with advanced mechanical realism.
Based on the FH Series introduced in 2012, the model represents the mighty 750hp FH16 Globetrotter 8x4 configuration, complete with a realistic cab and towing body. Features include a photo-etched front grille, detailed interior and opening doors, delivering exceptional scale fidelity.
A front-mounted TR Mighty Tuned motor powers the two rear axles via a propeller shaft and three-speed transmission, with transmitter-controlled gear changes for authentic operation. Designed to tow 1/14 scale R/C tractor trucks, this model is built for serious heavy-duty performance.
The detailed towing mechanism incorporates metal components and manually operated winch boom, underlift and outriggers. For even greater realism, the truck is compatible with optional electric actuators for R/C-controlled lifting functions, as well as the Tamiya Multi Function Control Unit MFC-03, adding lights, engine sounds, vibration and operational effects.
