Yamato - a battleship built during World War II, serving in the Imperial Japanese Navy. It is the first Yamato-class warship, which, along with its twin Musashi, were the largest battleships built in human history. The main idea behind building such powerful warships was the arms race with the US, which dominated the Pacific. Construction on Yamato began in 1937 and entered service on December 16, 1941, a week after the attack on Pearl Harbor. The ship was armed with, among other things, nine monstrous 460 mm guns. Its total length is 263 meters, width 38.9 meters, draft 11 meters and a displacement of 65,000 tons. It reached a top speed of 27 knots (50 km / h). Nearly 2,500 people served on the ship. It was sunk in a great skirmish on April 7, 1945 by American torpedo planes and bombers.
The Executive Edition contains a unique figurine of the Japanese admiral Isoroku Yamamoto in relation to the standard edition. The set also includes two additional nano planes and a black plate that can be mounted on a brick base.
Yamato is a huge model made of COBI construction blocks. Like other warships, it was designed in a 1: 300 scale model. The latest edition is not a reissue! The ship has been rebuilt and includes the latest bricks and construction solutions. It renders even the smallest details and details of its historical prototype even more faithfully. After assembling the 2684 elements, the body of the battleship is 90 cm (30.4 ") long and 19.5 cm (7.7") cm high. It has many movable elements, such as: deck guns and anti-aircraft batteries, rotating artillery towers, rudder and propellers. The set includes a special display stand with a plate on which the name of the ship is printed. A beautiful addition is a unique brick imitating the Golden Orchid, i.e. the imperial symbol that decorated the bow of the ship. The model is perfect for all lovers of history, military, marine and military technology. It looks great, arousing admiration and interest! Thanks to the intuitive instructions based on clear icons, the construction is simple and easy. The estimated time to build a model is around 8 hours, during which we build history! The model was designed and manufactured in Poland (EU).

What are pre-orders? Pre-orders, are an order for a product placed before it is available for purchase.
What are back-orders? Back-Orders allow you to place an order for a product, that is temporarily out of stock.
How much are pre-orders / back-orders? Prices may vary slighlty (from what was paid on the day of the order). Whilst we try to maintain the lowest possible price, factors such as supplier price and exchange rate fluctuations, could affect the final price when we receive it in store.
Note: Pre-orders could in some cases be a deposit price, without any knowledge of a final price from the Supplier or Manufacturer. In all cases you will be notified if there is a significant price change, from what was originally paid, before shipping.
How long do I have to wait for my pre-order / back-order? All
orders will be shipped once stock has arrived and full payment has been made, with the exception of Manufacturer Release Dates on some Pre-order Products. Waiting time depends on many factors, which are mostly out of our control. They could be for example, Manufacturing delays (due to global pandemics), Supplier shortages, or shipping delays.
Why am I being charged for my pre-order/back-order, even though the product isn’t released/re-stocked yet? This
is pre-payment for an item's payment and delivery costs that isn’t released yet to ensure as soon as it arrives your order can be fulfilled and sent out to you a.s.a.p. Not all orders will be charged shipping depending on size, and total order amount (see our website for current shipping to find out more and our shipping policy for more information).
