ZOIDS (ゾイド, Zoido) is an original IP created by Tomy.

Originally designed to be a collection of plastic model kits this series quickly grew into a manga, and soon after a popular anime series that was on par in popularity to Digimon. Featuring mechanized large scale robotic creatures that could be piloted (also known as mecha's), which are known as ZOIDS.

The designs in general are focused on the real life/fantasy counterparts such as: jaguars, insects, dragons, rhino's and much more.
