Minitrains locomotives & rolling stock are ready to run 1/87th (HO) scale narrow gauge models that run on 9mm (N Scale) track. This is to represent somewhere between a 2ft and 2ft 6inch narrow gauge railway.
Modelling narrow gauge opens up a whole new world for model railways as you're not tied to the constraints of modelling standard gauge. Many narrow gauge lines were build on a tight budget and therefore ended up with lines that had a lot of character. The narrower gauge of the tracks and smaller locomotives made much tighter curves possible, this translates very well to modelling as you can create an interesting layout in a very small space.
