Italeri was initially founded in the 1960's, but come the 70 - 80's the founders (Gian Pietro Parmeggiani and Giuliano Malservisi) became dissatisfied with the models that were available at the time. So they set out to change the way things where done, and ever since their models have become world recognised and appreciated by many!
