This 1\/48 scale die-cast model from Corgi depicts Harrier ZG478 as operated by RAF No. 41 (R) Squadron.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBased at RAF Coningsby, No. 41 (R) Squadron served as the RAF's Fast Jet Test \u0026amp; Evaluation Unit, working closely with defence manufacturers and research organisations to test and integrate new weapons and develop effective delivery techniques. The design incorporated the squadron's double patriarchal cross crest, which honours its first overseas deployment to St Omer, France, during the First World War.
