What Is Bachmann Branchline?
Bachmann Branchline is a subsidiary of Bachmann Europe, which originated in America, during 1833 when Henry Carlisle began to produce vanity products made from horn, ivory and tortoise shells. In 1899, the business was merged with that of Henry G. Bachmann, a German immigrant who was engaged in a similar business with his son, and the company was given the name Bachmann Bros. It wasn't until the 1960's that the company began manufacturing model railway products.
Ever since then, Bachmann Branchline has become synonymous in the model train hobby industry. Known for such products that fit: HO-OO Locomotives, HO-OO Rolling Stock, N Locomotives, N Rolling Stock, Narrow Gauge, Scenery, while also having grown to have a massive umbrella of different brands such as Bachmann Branchline (itself), Bachmann Narrow Gauge, Graham Farish by Bachmann, Woodland Scenics, Scenecraft and more!
